The 2026 Orchestra Rocks fundraising concert features local Bach to Rock students and is organized by district orchestra teachers. Previous versions featured the Armstrong and Cooper High School Orchestras and local artists. Since the first concert in 2012, hundreds of parents and community members attend the spring concert and proceeds benefit the Seven Dreams Education Foundation’s Instruments 4 Kids program. Instruments 4 Kids aims to supply musical instruments throughout the Robbinsdale Area Schools district to students who want to learn to play an instrument but are unable to purchase or rent one. In collaboration with district band and orchestra staff, who identify such students in need, we hope to give every student an opportunity to participate in instrumental music.
